  1. Population and dissenters: About a hundred Families, but no Dissenters.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is a very Good School House & a dwelling house & Garden and half an Acre of Meadow Ground adjoining for the use of the Master; the present one is Mr Roger Hurral it is in the Gift of the Rt. Honble the Lord Hobart & worth nine pound per Annum exclusive of the said House & Apurtenancies & is free of all taxes.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is no Alms House nor Hospital; but an Estate of about seven pounds per Annum consisting of Houses & Orchards in the Borough of Beralston. The Directions of the profits are in the hands & power of eight men chose by the parish for that and other affairs belonging to the Church, and poor; & which are chose alternately by the Recr & Parish.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside personally in my Parsonage House.

  5. Curate: No Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: On Sundays and Holy days.

  8. Frequency of communion: Every first Sunday in the Month and on Easter Sunday Whitsunday & Christmas day.

  9. Number of communicants: About one hundred.

  10. Catechising of children: Sundays in the afternoon <after the second Lesson> during the Summer Months, which times are particularly fixed upon because the Parish is of large Extent and the Church at one End of it, so that but very few People attend in the Winter time at the Evening service.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There was a Chapel in former times & some Ruins now remaining but no Accounts of any Service ever performed There.
